Behind the Counter Collectors

The Literature sections in the shop have begun to fill out! I am happy to say that there are some really interesting books coming our way these days. In particular, if you are a collector of unique books as our family is, you may find a few items for Christmas gifts on our "special" shelves. We have found a few first editions and some editions of books that we just love! One of the books is a hardback version of Leading Little Ones to God by Marian Schoolland. You may not find this precious book very appealing on the outside, but it is the first hardback of this title that I have ever seen. The prices on these books are rather out of proportion to their seeming value, but if you are a collector, consider at least looking at our little collection of treasures. Here is a list of some of these special titles.

-The Kid Who Batted 1.000, by Allison and Hill
-Shoo-Fly Girl, by Lois Lenski
-Phonetic Storybook 1-17, Raceway Steps, from Sing, Spell, Read & Write, Sue Dickson
-The Story of Robert Louis Stevenson, by Joan Howard (Signature Books)
-The Story of Theodore Roosevelt, by Winthrop Neilson (Signature Books)
-Chancellorsville: Disaster in Victory, by Bruce Palmer
-Rees Howell's Intercessor, by Norman P. Grubb
-The Queen's Own Grove, by Patricia Beatty

There are many others. Please, stop by and see!
