Short & Sweet Announcements
1.Christian Heritage Conference, April 22-24…the store will be open, but we will not be accepting consignment on those days.
2.Announcing New Hours…Monday, May 3, 2010 will be open Monday through Friday 10-5 & Saturday 11-4.
3.VISITING AUTHOR! Bryan Davis, author of two of our favorite series, Dragons in Our Midst & Oracles of Fire, will be here at The Homeschool Book Shop speaking on a writer’s beginning journey. He will also be available for informal chat from 9-11am, Monday, May 3, 2010. Mr. Davis will be on an extended tour introducing his latest book, Starlighter. To show our hospitality and gratitude for his visit with us, we will be hosting Brunch at the same time. If you would like to come, this event is free, but we would request that you bring a potluck brunch dish to share with Mr. Davis!
4.“Cut to the Chase” with Rob Chase on American Christian Network Radio, AM radio…630 AM (this does not refer to the time, but the radio station call numbers). Amber will be interviewing with Rob. It will air on Mother’s Day Weekend. Visit the ACN website for airing times. http://www.acn-network.com We will be announcing our new hours and our upcoming sale!
5.Garage Sale! The Homeschool Book Shop is making room for new curriculum! We are pleased to announce our first annual Garage Sale. May 13, 14 & 15 we will be offering 15% off of all used materials & 25-75% off of all the items in our parking lot! Yes, up to 75% off of items in the parking lot! We MUST make room for new summer inventory!
